Naming Opportunity for Fellowship/Scholarship Endowment
A $1 million investment, that when combined with an anticipated $750,000 matching gift from the state of Florida, would create a $1.75 million endowment to provide long-term support for Fellowships. Endowment earning would be used to support entrepreneurship coursework and student internships involving partners such as the UCF Venture Lab, Office of Technology Transfer, UCF Technology Incubator, and the Small Business Development Center.
These highly selective fellowships would consist of a series of courses and internship requirements for a limited number of undergraduate and graduate students. The Graduate Fellows would primarily focus on and work with the office of Technology Transfer, Venture Lab, and the UCF Incubator to learn first hand how new technology is brought to market. Undergraduate Fellows would support the Disney/SBA National Entrepreneurship Center by helping local start-ups and small businesses. The students would work locally to get first hand experience and help strengthen Central Florida’s economy.
Donor recognition will include the opportunity to participate in CEI events and competitions. In addition, Donor’s name would appear on all publications relating to the fellowship including:
- Scholarship & Internship announcements
- Fellowship brochures and promotions
- CEI and Fellowship partner websites
- CEI brochures and other relevant documents
