- Entrepreneurship Week 2008
The week of November 17-23, 2008, young people from more than 30 countries around
the world will be engaged in a variety of activities to learn about the
possibilities of entrepreneurship. Global Entrepreneurship Week/USA
serves as inspiration to future business leaders to understand the value
of creativity, determination, innovation and a general entrepreneurial

- SBIR Workshops
The UCF Venture Lab provided a Phase 1
SBIR workshop on October 4, 2007, and will be providing a Phase 2 SBIR workshop on February 8, 2008. These workshops are taught by experts in the nuances of winning SBIR grants, and
will share best practices and tips for writing SBIR federal grant requests that
are a fantastic source of funding for transitioning innovative research into
