Business plans will be judged based on the following criteria:
1. General Assessment
The plan clearly articulates a value proposition, the business opportunity is attractive and realistic and the management team exhibits ability to implement the plan.
2. Market, Services and Products
Product positioning and target segment is clearly defined and meaningful. The business has key competitive differentiators and a sustainable competitive advantage. The team knows and understands its competitors.
3. Financial Feasibility
The revenue model is appropriate for the business, industry and potential customers. It has a strong market potential and has enough estimated operating profit.
4. Presentation Skills
The plan has been presented clearly and concisely, capturing the team's vision and imparting it to investors.
Judges from the Central Florida venture community, including experienced entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, angel investors, legal professionals and faculty review the entries and participate on our judging panel.
