Faculty at each participating school are responsible for selecting plans for submission. Submissions must be accompanied by a nomination letter from a faculty member or submitted from a faculty members email address from the student’s school. Although the organizing committee encourages nominating local event winners, this is not a nomination requirement.
Business plans may include up to 20 pages of nicely formatted, single-spaced text, and must include a financials appendix limited to a maximum of 5 pages. Proposals that exceed the 20 page plan limit (using 12 point font with 1” margins, and including cover, text, charts, graphics, etc.) or the 5 page financials appendix limit will be returned without review.
All submissions are to be made in Microsoft Word or PDF format. These documents are to be attached to an email sent to the University of Florida’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at katharine.burks@cba.ufl.edu by 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 25, 2008. NO PAPER COPIES WILL BE ACCEPTED. All entries must clearly identify the track for which it is to be considered, and current contact information including company name, contact name, phone number and email address.
